Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the old town of Firgas, visiting Paseo de Canarias and Paseo de Gran Canaria, where you can see a beautiful horizontal urban waterfall of 98 feet in length. Don’t forget to discover the town centre of Arucas, which was declared a historic-artistic site. The Church of San Juan Bautista is the most emblematic attraction in the town, built entirely out of Arucas stone in 1909. The old City Hall and Casa de la Cultura, a traditional Canarian house from the Seventeenth century, are also buildings of great architectural value. You can also visit the Arucas Municipal Museum and the Arehucas Rum Factory, founded in 1884.
