Firgas, your best discovery
Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the old town of Firgas, visiting Paseo de Canarias and Paseo de Gran Canaria, where you can see a beautiful horizontal urban waterfall of 98 feet in length. Next to this beautiful site is the emblematic Casa de la Cultura, a building which originates from 1870; and Plaza de San Roque, where you can find a homonymous church from 1845 and Town Hall, housed in a beautiful Neo-Canarian-style building. You can also visit the watermill and old royal canal.

City of Arucas
1.5 milesDon’t forget to discover the town centre of Arucas, which was declared a historic-artistic site. The Church of San Juan Bautista is the most emblematic attraction in the town, built entirely out of Arucas stone in 1909. The old City Hall and Casa de la Cultura, a traditional Canarian house from the Seventeenth century, are also buildings of great architectural value. You can also visit the Arucas Municipal Museum and the Arehucas Rum Factory, founded in 1884.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
9 milesWhen you go to the capital of Gran Canaria, you will take a trip back in time when you enter the Vegueta district, where you can visit many museums and emblematic buildings such as the Cathedral of Santa Ana and the Pérez Galdós Theatre. If you want to go shopping, go to Calle Triana, a long boulevard lined up with many stores. We also recommend that you visit the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and Las Canteras Beach, 2 miles of golden sand located just 20 minutes away from the hotel.

Tejeda – Roque Nublo (Clouded Rock)
21 milesDon’t forget to visit the highest points of Gran Canaria in the municipality of Tejeda, which is characterised by its unique natural spaces, such as Roque Bentayga, Cuevas del Rey, El Fraile and the Roque Nublo (Clouded Rock) natural monument, one of the tallest rocks in the world standing at over 260 ft. and also the highest point on the island, 5,950 ft. above sea level.

Gáldar Painted Cave
9 milesThe Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park is located in the city of Gáldar, just 12 miles from the hotel. Cueva Pintada (Painted Cave) is considered to be the ‘Sistine Chapel’ of Canarian aborigines and inside you can see different artistic representations from that time. The cave was discovered in the Nineteenth century.
